Post A Non-Sense of Direction - Terrence Kennedy

After hunting for literally YEARS, I managed to track a copy of this down in a 2nd hand book shop in London last week.

For those who don't know, this is a fantastic travel journal, detailing the travels of the author and his partner through many years of overland exploration in a succession of A-series cars, namely a Mehari, a 2cv van of unspecified variety and then a Mehari 4x4. It was one of the first travel journals I ever read growing up, and is probably my main reason for ever getting interested in these amazing cars in the first place.

I was wondering if anyone knows what became of the author and his partner? I've hunted and hunted the web to no avail, and as the book was pretty much self-published, there aren't any contact details for the author that I can find. I'd love to know if they continued their adventures and their love of 2cvs and the like.

Anyone know them, or could enlighten me?

As Mike says, brilliant book. Haven't seen mine for a while but hope it turns up soon as I'd happily read it again. The section involving the US customs man used to make me chuckle.

Had a big ol' smile on my face reading that bit too. Was great to find it again after so long.

I meet this guy in 1995 in Word meeting in Maribor. Also have his book... brilliant. In that time he was living in Bahrain as I remember.
