I have attended a few since the early 1980s until around 2000. I'm gradually scanning my slides and negatives. Is there anything you're looking for in particular? |

I've been an doing some extra work this week (in a film about late Italian cyclist Marco Pantani). The assistant director loved my Acadiane, as apparently he owned several 2cvs, Dyanes, and an AKS400 in the past. Turns out he used to be in 2CVGB, and he made a film about the London to Brighton run in (he thinks) 1991, as part of his college course. Hopefully, he's going to let me have a copy once he's transferred it from VHS. |

marco pantani, il pirata! a legend in cycling, i would love to see that, and even more interesting if he was a member of 2cvgb too, and went on the l2b in '91, i wonder if i remember him or his car? |

I don't know, but I was there in '91 as well, with my Dad. I'm on my phone right now, so linking isn't easy. But if you search for 'the accidental death of a cyclist' you'll find info on the film. |

Pantani film sounds great - and its timing will be excellent, given the amount of coverage that Lance Armstrong's been giving to the dark side of cycling recently. I'll definitely watch it. |
