Post Roadjuly
Using the wonders of Google translate and some sketchy internet rummaging, it turns out that there's a film which stars, for the most part, a two tone blue 3cv. The film is called Roadjuly and looks to be available only in South America. How do you get a copy? I do not know, but if you do know, let me know. I'd like to see it. Anybody in South America fancy sending me a DVD?

Here's some trailers:

And some pictures:

And the official website:

Just be a little cautious with buying a DVD from other parts of the world. DVD systems work on 'regions' so it might not work.

The synopsis says:
"Santiago is a messy, unstable man. His ten-year old daughter July lost her mother six months ago and does not know her father. Valeria, July's aunt, suggests that Santiago takes July to San Rafael, where the child usually spends the holidays with her maternal grandmother. Santiago is reluctant but this trip represents his only chance to get to know his daughter. July and Santiago embark on a long journey through desolate roads in an old Citroen Mendoza. Throughout the trip, James and July are able to connect for the first time as father and daughter on a journey that will change their lives forever."

Chance of seeing guns, crime, car chases, explosions, kinky sex, general violations of societal norms: low.

Chance of seeing amazing Argentine scenery and an old A-series in glorious technicolor: high.

The movie is still being shown at film festivals in Europe, so it may not be ready for DVD release yet. A quick search of Mercadolibre yielded nothing.
