Hmm yes the aerodynamics look a little less 'good' on the van. Still love them though.

It's the Shedouin ....

Had a lick of paint (thank you Wickes) before the Crash box and classic car show (at Powderham) 9th - 10th July. Still needs the bonnet replacing. :D

Can anyone remind me why it was a good idea to enter?

Roger, reminds me of my old Leyland Sherpa! I quite like it.

Finally, after two months without our Snail due to accident damage, which has now been mended, we were able to go to our regular monthly meeting. Here's a few choice pics. Enjoy!

I'd say it's a Vespa 400.

Yup, Vespa 400. Came with driver and a passenger, too! Sounded just like the scooter of course and if it turns up again I'll see if I can get the driver to reveal the engine for a pic, all 400cc of it! I think it would be very interesting to see just how it is mounted.

Changed the oil before a long trip. Disconnected the throttle cable to lubricate it with synthetic lube and hung it up so it would get further down. It's OK until a hot traffic jam and just starts to get a bit sticky.

Went to drive to Devon and I'd routed the cable wrong. Didn't get to leave my yard before I realised my mistake. Quick shut off by key needed, so glad I have that reflex, hahaha.

It drove like a dream.

I've booked for registers camp, but am wondering if I'm going to be to hot!
