Dried it out a bit. Left it with the roof open on the sun and the windows. Eveything here is so sopping wet.....
the car itelf isn't really damp to be honest, the area below the boot lid lets water in where its corroded. One day I'll get it fixed. I'm almost tempted to buy the panel and bolt it on with coachbolts for now after cutting the old one off.

The 4x4 Dyane is still alive..!

Yesterday I had my 4x4 Dyane back on the road. Almost everything made, what was needed, now driving a while. We still have plenty of snow, and roads with snow and ice, that can read also, fun factory is quite high...

Today, only needed driving was to move Dyane away from garage door, so started up, warmed the engine for a while, youngest boy to back seat and some slipping'n'sliding. Some friends was talking on an empty market parking area, so that was next direction to drive on, at sideways of course, and didn't forget couple of "donuts" at icy carpark...

Put some very old fuel, from my Land Rover to this Dyane, so old there must be led on, and exhaust smells ancient like it smelled "on those days". Friends was very confused how that old car can smell like decades ago...

Maybe it is better to enviroment to make short drives with EFI Dyane, than old Land/Range Rover with carb..?

Made also a short lesson to kids, how different front/all wheel driven cars behaves. On our steep road from garage, very slippery due to ice, first tried to move on with front wheel drive, even at idle there was only wheelspin but not any movement. Engaged rear wheel with, and went without issue away...

Next lesson may be, how much harder situation can have with 4x4 than 4x2, at least the walking back is much longer with 4x4 when it got stuck...

did some minor repairs to the van and suddenly the plastic fuel-line broke. Tank was filled yesterday.
I replaced the old fuelline only 5 or 6 years ago, and now it broke .
While removing it from the chassis it broke several times again.
so I went into Kaposvár and bought a copper fuelline to replace the plastic one.
It is all bugger they sell nowerdays :(
Or is it the E stuff ?

It's just 2 2cv's and 3 years of welding and tinkering...

Geo is the colour of the car different on several parts?

Where did you buy it? It's REALLY important to give feedback to the sellers. Or else, why would them improve.
I've never changed that part on any of my cars. The original seems to last forever...
