Hi Geo :)

Yes, Speeduino

Spark only at the moment, and that still needs tweaking.

Trigger flywheel installed.
Prototype 3D printed, ABS trigger wheel sensor bracket installed.
TPS sensor installed, and load is based on TPS at the moment.
Drove it with a wedge shaped ignition table. Just looking at 3D shaped one.
Wiring harnesses made up and wrapped with loom tape.

Soon be cooking with gas.

@lpgo

Hey Geo

In your efi setup, what do you use as load. MAP, or TPS?

Could I take a peak at your tune pretty please. :D

I drive all my cars on map only, which works fine for me. . As cltI temp I take the temp of the lpg just before going into the engine. I take the acceleration enrichment from the the tps, however in my own efi I take it also from map. When cold I use less lpg then when warm.. At the moment I have 4 cars running at my own injection system.....

Why don,t you make your own speeduino/lpg topic????

Checking out a gearbox, what is been sitting at garage floor for about three decades. History quite unknown, but has been repaider at its former life. So, does someone recognise those markings..:

A plate, what is that "AY 3021" for? A letter F stamped, and..:

MK, what I think might be letters of repairer name? Also numbers 390, could be date 3/90. And "serial number" N72135

This box is bought from Germany, if I recall correct. Or Netherlands, I might have confused myself with stories, what I didn't write up right after hearing...

The ring and pinion was misaligned, so the teeth isn't perfect any more. Can't make silent one from that, also some other gears (and bearings, replaced with new ones) are pitted, caused the water condensed on those years. But it will be good enough for a spare gearbox, used when is needed when original box is out etc. And why bother to make this? Ami8 box is quite rare here, and the owner wasn't sure was that from Acadiane or Ami, and will be spare for his Aca...

Got couple of gearboxes to overhaul. One has monht or two timeline, the other has some years to deadline...

Yesterday I got my new toy. Land Rover Series 2a -62. This was mentioned to be a surprise to my dad, who drove them 1969-70 at UN forces Cyprus. When I was a kid, he and his friend (a Citroen D -lover, enthusiast) everytime when they met talked a lot about these, tried to remember how wonderful those were, and dreamed to have one on some day...

Here he is sitting on "his Landy", that car they used about every day at 15 months period. Looking straight to camera...

Sadly he didn't manage to drive that ever, passed away about week ago...

Sorry to hear that. Land-rover and 2cv were always my favorite cars. I had 2 a 1952 80 inch Minerva  and a 1982 88 (ex-swiss) County.
