Yes, of course, but available time and costs prevented us from doing so as we had to return to the UK after only a few days. Once we're out there, we actually have to come back for a wedding in it in September, ironically.

I had to drive to France last year to go camping in the Loire. My other half wouldn't accept going in the 2CV. I was a bit gutted, we went in the big S class Merc instead. However, 1200 miles later I realised my other half was probably right hehe..

Changed engine oil & filter, washed air filter in petrol, checked plugs, cleaned plug leads, greased k/pins, d/shafts & knife edges.
I really did ought to have adjusted the handbrake, but seeing as the MOT is due next month, I might as well leave alone until then as it never seems to stay "adjusted" for long.....I'll just leave it in gear.

Thanks, Ian. Bits of rust in the usual places if you look closely, otherwise it seems to be holding up ok.

Drove it, it was absolutely brilliant roaring around. Easy to forget how fun they can be.

I removed the older black/silver style French plate off the front and installed a yellow number plate that matches the rear. The numbers and letters are different but both plates are of the same era.
