Woo Hoo :D :D :D

I picked up the TIG. Lots of spare consumable bits as well :D

I was looking at them new, and they are £1300 -£1400, and I was going to take the plunge.

Picked up this one and only 18 months old, (only 17 miles away) for £600.

Need to organise some gas :)

YAY :D

YouTube and Rtech welding are sources on how to Tig.
Tig is much more precise than mig but harder to master, Tig is also the best for aluminium.
Success with the new kit
Cheers

Went to a really friendly local classic vehicle show on Sunday, and some nice Tractions there plus a couple of A series. Enjoy.

I drove back and forth to Kaposvár on back roads, beautiful scenery, especially the stretch along Lake Deseda was beautiful.
On the way back, I met the MOT inspector, who did the MOT on the 2Cv recently , he was on his way with his electric scooter, going fishing.

I took the drivers seat apart and put new springs in it.

Yesterday I seem to have fixed the noisy speedo. I tried to put up with velcro a new upper interior lining my friend made for me because my old one was shameful and falling down. I didn't want to glue the new one up but I might have to use a few bits of glue unfortunately, velcro is not working well.

Lots of little jobs yesterday, new mudflaps, reseated the wiper spindles because one was dripping. Rustproofing for winter. Greasing pins and shafts and all that. Lubed the throttle cable. Oh and a new oil filter since I didn't have one for my last oil change not long ago.

Oh and new runner pads on the bonnet since mine fell off.
