Discovered, that the new manifold exhaust gaskets I fitted a few days ago are blowing very badly. Obviously, all the clamps are sound, because I will have to undo those again.

Drove the deuche to the carparts-shop to get new dynamo-brushes for my bosses old volvo p210. They had only one set at one of their shops in the north of holland 250kms away. So i did go to the auto-electric firm and they just pulled them from a drawer...

Did the exhaust gaskets on the manifold again today. Used a bead of silicon sealer on both sides of new gaskets. Used new spring washers and did the nuts up fecking tight. New spring washers on Burton clamps.

Its never been so quite.

I have given up on my stupid never ending exhaust stud saga so I'm gonna get the professionals in! Haha. I think I'll go standard exhaust now, currently I have the Louis Barbour crossbox which does seem to give it more torque, but to cover the raspy noise I put a cherry bomb on the back. Its funny, but I'm sick of it all now.

I picked up my little soldier today. No more blowing from the manifold. Yay!
