there has been doubt cast on it as little more than a publicity stunt, its an awfully convoluted way of getting yur arse home - Neil you are now charged with finding the photo where they shortened the broken chassis and drove out sitting in the back of the car with some wire holding the whole thing together :D

there was a mad vid about hatching a 2cv from an egg going round recently - the "Bike" is in the background

i must admit, it seemed a bit strange,one website said he was 10 km from civilization another- 20??

If its the same car in the first pic i like the way he repainted the shell and re registered it ! Or maybe the sand blasted the top coat off .:)

Having chopped up more than my fair share of kn@ckered Citroen chassis, usually with a 9" angle grinder, it seems to me that he must have been carrying an awful lot of hacksaw blades in his spares box... :roll:

Sawing off the longerons would have taken some time and as for the 60mm diameter/2mm wall crosstubes which hold the suspension cans.
