i commented on that bonnet up flat 4 pic... twice :P

i've seen pics like this before, but it was a different place, and cant remember where i found them on the net before, i know there was one of them strange IES super america things behind it in the pics, and it was one of the original 007's which had the roll cage inside, the dented panels had been replaced by "better looking" ones and it still had the damage on the side of the windscreen from where it got rolled in the film...

does anyone know the pics im on about?

Not quite like the Conservatoire, but probably as interesting. Sad he doesn't use any of the cars.

Great photos Russ. I noticed the H reg Brit 2cv and can remember seeing it at Beaulieu(National Motor Museum) about 8 yrs ago. I can remember 2CVGB trying to locate it for the World Meeting Museum at Kelso, only for Citroen to say they have'nt got it :? Well, clearly they have, as the photo proves.

Does any one know how easy(or should that be difficult) it is to gain access to the Convervatoire? I'd love to nose round that 'little' collection. :D But as far as I'm aware, Citroen are not keen.

It's not open to the public but the people who run the show are friendly and did say at the time they were very greatful for our visit and the enthusiasm of people like us.

Basically, as I understand it, you have to ask them (as a club), and they might allocate you a day where you're let loose to wander about, and as you can see, touch and fiddle (with the cars).

I don't know if we would constitute a 'car club' as such, but would it be worth me emailing them and asking if we could do an I2F visit next year sometime?
