Post HELP! Ami 6 crashed into - front stuffed in
Hi

Just had someone reverse hard into the front of my Ami, it's driveable and the fans working, but so far Footman James are not able to give me a garage that can fix the damage.

Can anyone tell me of some accident repairers in Bristol

I could od0 the work only it's sourcing the parts and frankly - why should i - that's what insurance is for

Bad times Will!

If you need any help sourcing parts, let me know..
Unfortunalty I recently sold my spare front panel.. Otherwise you could have have that with no problem.

Make sure the chassis is untouched and straight.. The panels are more easy to swap.

Thanks Tom - I'm really upset, my fear is it will be written off as sourcing the parts from UK will take alot of time for a garage, plus respray etc. - Not sure the car is worth much more than £2000

I believe the front of an ami is available from Ecas,
Any good panel beater will do the work,
There's bound to be someone

Bad news

Peter Cross at Worcester is a very good panel beater and 2CV specialist... he's up at Worcester (65 miles from Bristol). Dunno whether that's too far for you.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

I can't rememberif I have any wings left but if so you can have them. Post some photos up, I'm pretty sure it'll e repairable, if it's not your fault, I reckon you can repair it easily though. Peter sparrow of pts developments in crowthorne has a massive stash if ami panels so give him a shout too. The front ends are so easy to work on I bet if ou got the panel off you could stri it and straighten it without too many problems. The front of my old red one had been stuffed a few times and straightened but until you took it off or looked really close you'd never notice. Usual advice about do not give the insurance company the car under any circumstances applies.

Unhappy news. I haven't got any Ami bits, but if you want to bring it over to Ross I'm happy to lend tools, make tea and give you a hand to straighten it out.
