Post subject:  Little question about the 'Dim-dip' resistor

Hi dudes, I was wondering if anyone has a photo that shows the dim dip resistor fitted to the fan cowl of post 1987 UK 2CVs?

Or if anyone could confirm how many wires it has connected and what each do.

OR! if someone could tell me if this is a 2CV dim dop resistor on the CX seatnext to the orange relay!

I'll tell you what's going on here soon (it's nothing to do with dim dip lighting btw)

looks like it

2 wires one from the relay, the other goes to the hedlamp dipped filament, via the loom

bottom of a bin or a harley coil the best place for them

Ah, right - this one here has 3 wires... Hmm.

It's needed to work the slow speed fans on the CX - i got several electrical bits from a guy but I felt the resister was wrong and indeed when it's wired in the fans still roar at full pelt.

anyway thanks for the quick reply
