So in the UK after 49 years and 6 months the M10 motorway has now been downgraded to the A414.

Im getting worried....reckon I might get downgraded to an old county lane soon myself...

"The M10 was a motorway in Hertfordshire which has since been reclassified as part of the A414. It was around 3 miles (4.5 km) long. It ran from the M1 motorway at Junction 7 to the A414 North Orbital road at Park Street roundabout." Near St Albans :?: Never been there!

or potentially....

"M10 is a state route in Russia connecting the two largest cities: Moscow and Saint Petersburg, and continuing to the border to Finland."

or even...

"The M10 is a motorway located in Sindh province, Pakistan, however it mostly referred to as the Karachi Northern Bypass. It is 57 km long and consists of 4 lanes."

4 lanes :?

R.I.P. M10

It really was a hilariously short m'way. Started at a roundabout, and cut the corner off to the M1 between the M25 and Hemel Hempstead.

Mind you, the nice thing about it was how quiet it always was. 120+ was usually easily achievable along it, even when there was plenty of traffic elsewhere. Allegedly.
