erm.... i know its in/near dunstable.... thats about it really :P

cant remember any racing 2cvs though... mostly some that could be back on the road with a few parts and a few days of work.... and then others that looked like they'd been there for years without moving!

I have been to the place in Dunstable... i am sorry to say dont go there for engines!!
I am in Devon so it was a fairsh drive for us, we got there no one was there 20 minutes later someone arrived and said £120.00 quid each engine, we needed two, and apprently they had working garantee with them, They had to take the engine out the car's rusting to the ground which was abit suspicious as they are ment to be running & a garantee with them? :S It was total bull shine we got home and they both had to be rebuild 30 hours work plus, new rings, cylinder heads, barrels the lot it cost another £250.00 for the parts per engine, and the 2nd still is not finished. We traded 3 engines in, one was seized, but the other two needed a new cylinder head, he gave us £30.00 quid for all of them!
I found the alternator on one of the engines selling for £40.00!!!!!!!
Would have been worth to get a recon engine? or a new cylinder?
I would keep away from that place if i was you!

Post Re: Rusting in Peace.
well hopefully i wont be needing any engine bits.... we kinda had the same situation when we got there, i had asked him about ventflaps the night before and he said they were all ready bla bla.. got there to find one guy was miles away and the other we couldnt get hold of... there was a helpful lad down there though who helped us get the flap off a car... which wasnt in bad condition at all... we might be going back down to get some panels as there were some pretty good doors down there!

i mean the red spesh we got my ventflap off was full of crates with brand new citroen parts in boxes... just sat there getting damp inside this car.... abit of a waste really!

oh well you where lucky with that.. everything they have supplied me has a fault in it in, as the carb on the engine didnt idle or rev! it was touch and go.. so new recon carb!
i think they might be lieing abot there name now, as they have changed there ebay name, and it says Lee, the man i met wasnt Lee!!
But they did supply me with a racing steering wheel which hasnt snapped, bent YET!
it is a nice wheel for the 4x4 though.
