might do russ, will have to pm you and let you know whats going on, atm we've found a 2nd hand crankshaft on ebay and we're just waiting for a reply from the guy "classic (2)2cv recycling" in oxford, which is only an hour down the road or so for us, so we're hoping to hear from him and go see what hes got, if not then its gna be the D*lly engine for abit untill we can get something sorted for lily, we've got the spare dyane engine too so if we cant use it, that might come in handy!

pictures like that just kinda make me feel abit gutted.... knowing there are actually places like that around....

and i felt sad getting a ventflap in dunstable where there was about 20 2cv's sinking into the ground around me...

upsetting much? :(

is that near markyate on the A5??? I pass them all the time and thought they were all old racing 2cvs i'll stop for a closer look next time i think

'found' this elsewhere:

To all those interested; I am selling my Citreon 2cv collection of 20 2cvs and loads of parts, due to immigration. I am looking for a quick sale and therefore the asking price reflects this.

I want £3,500 for all of the parts (over £25,000 worth) and I want £3,500 for the 20 2cv's I have. I am open to offers as I am looking for a quick sale, (within 2-3 weeks from today). Transportation can be arranged at cost. I am looking to sell as a job lot, or parts and the 2cvs seperately.

This is an excellent business opportunity and whether you are looking to restore the 2 2cv's, or dismantle them for parts, this whole collection is worth at least 500% more then what I am asking for if sold at the current second-hand market value. This is therefore a tidy business investment. I will also include my customer base of over 350 2cv customers that I have built up over the last five years.

More photos and information available at request and viewing is available in Dunstable (just off junction 9 M1) 7 days a week.

For further information please contact Mark 07931 554513 or mark@2cv emporium.com

Thanks for your interest,
