Post dyane stuff and nonsense
Hello folks, (this is a bit of a carbon copy of a post i made on 'another' 2CV forum, sorry about that, but i cant think of new stuff easily cos' im lazy)

firstly have a pic.............

Image

So yeah, this is a yard belonging to another forum poster (up to them if they wish to own up, most of you will know who anyway)

So, we have 4 dyanes and 2 acads in the yard for this pic, between us we have another 4 whole dyanes and plenty of parts.

We mused when will you go to a normal (not one of the big 2) UK events and see 4 dyanes and 2 acads turn up these days? let alone 8 dyanes and 2 acads.

And this is just the ones owned between the 2 of us, makes you wonder how many are 'really' left out there doesnt it.

My names Matt and i have a problem  :D

Have a couple more pics for luck.........

Take this last pic as a public thanks to couple of friends who helped me out no end sorting my sisters beige car.........

The rego on that beige Dyane's got my initials!

There's a yard/barn not far from Matlock that has 3 blue Dyanes, 1 cream one, and a couple of 2cvs, just sitting about. I wish the owner would sell them, or break them for spares, or something. Sadly, they're just rotting away.

That beige dyane is my sisters new car.

I bought it for me about a year ago, having known the previous onwer for about 10 years.

Its really very solid and nice. It drives spot on and does 80mph anytime you want it too, im quite miffed i didnt keep it for myself now

Ask her to sell you the plate :?

(sits on hands)

I've also visited the top-secret yard pictured, and can vouch for the solidity of that beige Dyane....

I WILL have one, but at the minute I daredn't. Not until I can afford to do what I want to it, anyway. I can't think of a worse fate for one than to sit on my drive in the open coz I can't afford to finish it.

Unless I can get an unbeatable deal from DadBankPLC.......hurhurhur
