 Safety lock on handbrake lever

Post Safety lock on handbrake lever
Did you know there is a safety lock on your hanbrake lever.If you didnt,all you do is gently pull out the release botton on the handle and turn it through 90 degrees either way and let it go into the slots-hey presto-your handbrake is locke on :lol: .Cool or what :P

If you did know,why didnt you tell us :lol: :lol:

Thought it was common knowledge!!Try reading your handbook!!! :lol:

I found out cos our car had the wrong (longer) lever fitted (to compensate for the bent chassis) and the button did not work so when I changed the chassis I had to fit the correct lever so now the button & the "child lock" Safety lock also works!!!

Had a broken one when I bought mine, but had it replaced, my favourite anti theft device :)
