Er, as above really. So yay! But eek!

Why am I posting this here instead of on 2cvGB? Well, because they're all members and get the magazine anyway. I appreciate there's a lot of non-members here, so what could I do to make you join up so you could get that magazine - it should be a highlight of membership, not a freebie surely!

So i2F what magazine content would you like to see that could tempt you to join 2cvGB?

Well, I am a member but, I'd like to see more racing stuff, maybe some of the other less well known foreignstuff (2cv cross for eg) and some photos of really shit cars instead of peoples letters about their beloved Charlston "Penelope" and how great "she" is and saved the day by acting as vicar as well as wedding transport etc.

Maybe have something similar to the "Deuche Speciales" thread on here, let other, less fortunate folk hear abot the IES Americas and the likes?

Lots of love from Jon and Josselin (the Ami) and Myrtle (the racer) ;)

Well done for standing Sam. Looking forward to seeing your stamp on it.

I think Maurice has earned a well deserved rest.

Maybe he won't get a rest. He's on the organising committee for ICCCR 2012 I think. :)

Sam,

That's great !!

Will be writing letters and articles to you..... you will recognise them, they will be in green ink. :o

...when can I start ?

NOW !!!

Dear Mr Sam - your editorship { Ian Hislop watchout....} of the popular magazine "2CVGB News".....yes here is the missing words round.... " MAN FOUND DOING ******** WITH A DYANE)

Anyway.... SIR !

Just warming up and onto my first letter...

I once had a D*lly but thought it would be funny to name him Olly. I named him that because I was able to remove the "D" and amazingly he then became 'olly....not D*lly. Sadly in 1547 he had a breakdown and changed sex, did some deep therapy and became "Mistress Seat Restraint". It was a confusing time for us all (we had to tell him/her to belt up) and I wonder what advice you can give me now that we have adopted a spare suspension canister from Nigeria (only £3.99 per month, all for a good cause, you get a calendar each Christmas, sticky labels, crap cards and a free pen in July) and as a worried mother of three wonder if he shouldnt now be dipped in chocolate and thrown to the lesbians or would you recommend 135s, 125s or simply remove his/her/his dim dip switch ?

Thanking you in advance for your advice and help.....look forward to your reply and further communications.

I hope my contributions to the letters page will be warmly recieved.

Congratulations Sam!
I am not a member of 2cvGB, and I do not know the magazine, but I suggest you have a "page 3 girl" in it. ;)

Brilliant news, Sam! I'm looking forward to getting the mag already, but what I'd like to see, and not see in it is similar to what Spanners has said. I'd also like it to be more witty again-check out mags from the Bev Abbot era to see what I mean. Of course, you can only put in what you get sent, and I wish you the best of luck.

P.S. I think Squeezbox maybe should have a monthly column.
