Post my new 1969 2cv
Just got a 19692cv.

Can somebody help me with the cause of steering wheel shudder in 3rd?

Doubt it can be 3rd gear related :? ,probably a king pin needing replacement and every now and then the wheel on the side needing doing starting to flap a bit causing the shudder :|

Thanks Ben. When I had a French mechanic look at the car he did notice also some play at one of the drive shaft u-joints. Maybe that as well? I figured I might replace the track rod ends also?

I live in CT on the East Coast. Phil Caron worked on my car here in Connecticut.

I've bought some parts from Dave Burnham in NY.

Relatively rare car here in the states.
