Dear All ..... it is my sad duty to inform you all of the passing away of my dear friend Dave Blackett. Dave passed away peacefully yesterday [sunday 24th July] at 5.00pm. As many of you may know,Dave had been battling cancer for most of this year. He was a well known and much loved member of two of our local 2CVGB branches [RADARS & TROY] and along with his wife Valerie [Val] attended most of the Northern Camps.... the last two he attended was the RADARS midsummer camp [at Retford] & Registers Day in his Charleston & Combi-Camp trailer. I'm sure you will all join the RADARS & TROY in offering our sincere condolences to Val & Daves family. Rest in Peace Dave. Terry |
