Did the biggest daily mileage in the Morris yesterday. Managed to do a 75 mile round trip to visit a 2CV'er friend. The 89 year old Minor didn't miss a beat. Even saw an indicated 50mph on the speedometer for a short distance. I'm much happier pootling along at 40-45mph.
These photos were taken this afternoon when I popped over to an old-school mechanic (2CVs and 1920s and 30s) as we're trying to get to the bottom of charging issues with the dynamo on Summer/half charge setting. I have to cross a field to access his property.

Nice Sahara shame they screwed up the rear wings. The holes for the fuel fillers in the doors seem to have the wrong shape.

It's that time of the year where the MOT is due on both the 2CV and my VW Golf. First up was the Golf this afternoon. Thankfully flew through the test. I've done less than 3800 miles since the last MOT on 28th August last year. The Deuche is going in next week. I'm expecting a big fail. It's done just 1700 miles since the last test. My 1932 Minor has done 2800 since Christmas, so going by that mileage it's well on the way to doing the highest miles over a 12 month period by the end of the year :lol:
