Certainly not eligible for almost any kind of VSCC event. Even my 85-year-old Minor is deemed too young. Actually, the side-valve Minor is banned from the VSCC because the committee are a bunch of snobs.

Re: The O/T thread! Was heading down to Lerwick on the 9:45am ferry out of Unst yesterday, when the deckhand informed us of a pod of around 14 Orcas in the Sound between Belmont and Gutcher, on Yell. Re: The O/T thread! Was at Dawlish early one morning. There was a pod (is that correct?) of dolphins or porpoises, just off the beach beside a breakwater. One must have been only six feet away from me. Incredible sight.
