 Re: The O/T thread! Just watched the pilot episode of The Man in the High Castle, on Amazon Prime. Full of 1950's & 60's European cars including a plethora of 2CVs, Beetles, Type 2s, Traction Avants, FIAT 500s, Morris Minors and spattering of German bubble cars. All set in 1962 America. Most, if not all, of the above wouldn't have made it into production if the Axis powers had won WW2, and definitely no bubble cars. Gotta love American TV.

Re: The O/T thread! Enjoying some Aurora up here in Shetland this evening. Check out Shetland Webcams website, CliffCam 1 & 3. I'm watching from the top of the hill.

Re: The O/T thread! Drove down to Lerwick on Sunday and caught the overnight ferry to Aberdeen to do some shopping. Ended up walking 9.6 miles yesterday. Got the overnight ferry back to Shetland last night, and drove home this morning after a quick visit to Tesco first. Was completely dark by a little after half three, and we suffered a power cut at 4:50pm, which lasted till 7:20pm. Hoping I can cook a meal without another power cut.
