 The O/T thread!
Obviously, the aim of this website is to bring together 2cv owners and enthusiasts from all over and talk 2cvs. Inevitably, we are always going to stray off topic and start talking about whatever random subjects we drift onto. To keep the main board all about the flat twins, We've decided to have a thread where you guys can talk about anything you like, and effectively socialise amongst yourselves.
If a thread on the main board drifts wildly away from 2cvs, there is a chance we'll edit it to end up in here so we can keep the main board on-topic, if we do happen to move something you've written or responded to in here, please don't be offended, we're really chuffed that you're using our website to socialise and entertain yourselves, and we'd hope you'd continue your debate/chat/message etc in here, we certainly aren't about to go all power hungry and start deleteing things, or stopping people from freely discussing things!
We hope this doesn't come across as some kind of hard and fast rule and we really don't want anybody to worry that something they post might be regarded as off-topic and therefore make them reluctant to post. This isn't a sin bin of any sort, merely a way for us to keep the website tidy, plus giving our members (that's you!) a place to talk about whatever the hell you want to!
We won't be enforcing this very heavily and moving posts left right and centre, but if you have anything to say that's not about 2cvs or any related subject, feel free to post it here!
Keep up the good work, we're very proud of what you guys are making our forum!

 Re: The O/T thread!
Righto, good idea! I'll kick it off then. I popped down to Goodwood race track at the weekend, there was a sprint session on, and despite it being a really pleasant venue, it was free to spectate! Plenty of awesome and very pretty old cars to ogle, not only those that were racing, but loads of really nice cars had been bought along by spectators too! Just wandering about the car park I saw all of these: Not to everybodies taste, I know, but this picture doesn't capture just how pink this thing was, it hurt your eyes! I don't know what this is, but it looked very 60's! This, was massive. This too, and this... ..were massive. Then, wandered over to the track, having been raped for some piss-poor bacon rolls (£5 each, all fat and no bacon!) and got to see.... And as promised, the pics of the racing lawnmower... Also, had to do a quick tyre swap on my Golf last week, for some reason. my jack has damage the roof and left the windows unable to close...

OOO! Nice pics, the very sixties thing is I believe a Piper, a sort of kit that wasn't if you see what I mean, you could only buy it assembled, but it looked like a kit car. Silver thing in the sprints was a Bizzarini, lovely Cologne Capri and a sweet TVR griffith, nice
