For you? Plenty of 2cv folks will give you a bed, depending on how many and for how long. Back packers are in St Kilda area but its noisy (right on the beach) |

Sean, I'm in Melbourne but unfortunately not in a position to be able to accomodate anyone. If your request for "student style" accomodation is related to a student attending a uni or college here, then contacting the student services mob at the relevant institution would be a good idea. These are usually run by the Student Unions and arrange good deals for students. If your request if for yourself or another tourist, then the backpackers hostels are always good value as far as I understand it (Too old for these myself, but my Sons have given good reports). One of the main advantages of the backpackers places is they're usually close to the centre of things as 2CViking suggested. Cheers, Pottsy |
