Well that'sa bugger. Good luck!
We had the boat insured for 3rd party damage (as u do) so that if we caused anyone damage we were covered. It took it into it's head one night to bust a mooring rope and smite another boat, bent it a bit (t'other one not us). So we said to the insewerance 'please pay this nice man for his bent boat' and our insewerance said 'were u on your boat when it did go bend this other mans boat?' And we said; 'no'. And they said; 'Oh well you aren't liable then!' We said; 'bugger that fer a lark!' and went and got a different and hopefully more reliable sort of insewerance. Meanwhile, and so far as we know still, the nice mans insewerance company is still trying to kick the money outta our ex bunch of shiesters. It's all a ripoff coz they are gambling that they can wriggle out of paying... Or am I over cynical?

They will, you just need to talk to them nicely... mention my name ;)

Have you still got the pug insured on its own policy? That will help. Tell them you want limited milage 'highdays and holidays' type thing.
