Insurance time for Casper again, I had the renewal from FJ at £158 for Scott and I, is this good?

My best quote with a 'normal' insurer is £122.85

Online Peter James said that I have to be 30, if I call them instead will it make a difference that I'm 28?

Adrian Flux called best quote £280, the guy did say sorry that he couldn't get it any lower.

Think I will just stick with the renewal price

Post Re: 2cv Insurance
I tried Bishop Calway for a quote this year and they were cheaper than my renewal from Footman James (£84 rather than £145).

I've stayed with Footman James though as:

1- They include European Breakdown cover,
2- They offer unlimited mileage (3000 miles with Bishop Calway),
3- No extra for agreed value as I agreed it a couple of years back and it's valid for three or four years,
4- I couldn't be arsed to change as I'm basically bone idle.

So, to sum up: It might be worth trying Bishop Calway for a quote.

I tried, they said that I have to have another vehicle and that my 2CV would be the 2nd car :(

Insurance due 1 July so had renewal through from FJ and unlike previous years where I felt I was being fleeced by paying over £200, this year I'll be paying £140. Result!

Oh! And that was with my previous address in Worcester, there's no difference up here in Shetland when it comes up in September.

My premium with FJ has been creeping up the last few years and was £150something last year. I was preparing myself for a ring around this year, but the quote came in at £124, which considering I've used the breakdown service twice in the last year I thought was pretty good. I then asked them to quote for adding a second classic to the policy, they said no extra charge, I'm happy. :D

Do FJ include travel insurance in their policies, or did I dream it?
