Yes, I have got unlimited mileage. I'll query it when renewal time comes up, but it doesn't bother me at the moment. The only other cars I ever really drive are my Dad's, and I'm a named driver on his policies for them anyway.

Some advantages to being an oldie then, I have 3 cars insured fully comp, agreed value with all the trimmings for £133.50, and although the 2Cv is standard and the Hillman Avenger, My Singer Chamois is built as a sprint car with some totally mad mods (is fully roadworthy and has an mot) all listed with Peter James.
Now my 19year old son on the other hand....

There's always good old Roadsure - now incarnated as Premium Choice.

They used to be 2CVGB's approved insurers, and thundering good they were too - I'm still with them after 20 years...

Post Re: 2cv Insurance
So Caspers insurance is up for renewal and i need some advise...

I'm putting Scott on my insurance this year so its around £60 more adding him rather than just renewing but i don't know who to choose..

I've been on price comparison websites and had a quote for £208.23 which is the cheapest excess is £150 ior i've just spoken to Footman James £221.38 with £100 excess, includes breakdown cover EU travel cover etc (i already have UK and EU breakdown cover seperately with Britannia Rescue)

So which is the better deal? Cheapest possible payment or footman james for an extra £13?

presumably the FJ quote would also allow you to agree a value for the car?
