Won't it be full of entrants with all the latest SLR kit and/or photo-shopping clever dicky's getting cool effects? I've a hard drive of stuff taken with a Panasonic Lumix while not really standing still if that's any good.

I'll be relying on a Box Brownie, the natural beauty of my car + a half-decent location... everything else will sort itself out, I'm sure.

Which, of course, is why I use a ho-hum camera. Because no matter WHAT I use, my photos will only ever be mediocre... |

But the best kit allows for pin sharp photographs of Tesco's car park on a rainy Sunday, which when photoshopped into grainy black and white provide some sort of film-noir existentialist comment on life. (well to Guardianista's they do) Whereas I'll just have those boring old shaky shots of the Himalayas. |
