Yep, your computer's picked up a bug. Take it to the PC doctor. There's loads around. They'll charge you £30 or so to put it right. My cousin'd do it for you, but he's in Brum, unless you want to drop it in to him on your way up to Durham to pick up that engine... ;)

Post subject:  Re: mods,

Definitely not a problem with the site. I've just tried from several PCs, including ones that have never been here before, and all is working fine.

If you think there's a virus on that machine (and I do) then start by not trusting any anti-virus software installed on it. Viruses affect the anti-virus software first. Go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com for a full online scan from a trusted anti-virus.

:o  you pay for some sweaty nerd to scan your laptop for viruses, all you need is comodo anti virus as your firewall/anti virus (the best free software around). and James download http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html this software its free (as you never need to pay for a virus scanner) and will get rid of ANY viruses.

here to help :ugeek:

No... just that I don't know what James's level of computer knowledge is! So if the whole thing is a pain in the backside to him (and for plenty of people it is) then he could just take it to "some sweaty nerd" and get on with fixing his 2CV while Mr. Computer gets de-loused. End of!
