But as russ said. Since doing the member thing, the membership rose. Not much more people posted but membership increased

I wouldnt exspect to have full viewings of a forum as a non member. Sogning up takes minutes

Surely we are not all here to have a good member count!

Like viking, LPGO and others have said, it's a real shame that general public miss out on seeing some of the content here. wrong attitude James and Rebel, that what turns communities in to elitist groups without even knowing imo.

In a closed forum, it won't. And that's the main reason why - for me - the forum should be open, to ensure people googling for 2cv information will find the forum.
