It just means foreigners have to register. Surely thats not a big deal. Id rather the forum private to members.!

Wonder if I2F is now a fully UK forum since visitors can't read anything unless registered :o

This has been the case for at least 12, perhaps 18 months...

It appears to me that I2F have formed a group of UK folks only interested in one and others post. I hope I'm wrong

I find myself more drawn to non-UK members posts - I know I'm not the only one.

Thanks Neil. So visitors do need to register before viewing, why is that? I understand that registration is required for posting.

I have noticed that some none UK users are from time to time ignored when posting. That's no good for an International forum?

Interesting way of thinking. If the forum is not available for none members, nobody can read it nor feel interested in joining.
It is like the donkey and a carrot except the carrot is missing

I don't think non-UK members are ignored. Certainly not by me. I always look for posts from lpgo, Geert, Taskos, Pavlos, Harley, Mec (not that he's on here much these days though, unfortunately). Oh, and that Viking fella. ;)

However, I do agree with the point that non-members can't be encouraged to join us if they can't see the topics and posts. I encouraged my bro to take a look at i2cvf recently and he moaned and whined about having to join. Hiding most of the site behind a membership wall must put off loads of prospective contributors, imho.

As a non-UK member I don't feel ignored ,but I find it a bit silly that non-members are not able to read the forum. How can you encourage people to join, if they are not able to read whats going-on on the forum.
Still it is ofcourse the decision of the forum owner or moderators .
