my question is, with my going overboard and painting everything in red oxide, i really think it wouldnt be a bad idea to remove the grey interior trim, the one that runs up both sides, from the inside boot floor, (inside on the rear sweeps) right to the windscreen...

do you think i should bother?? (i would re attack the grey stuff after wards) and how do i re attach it afterwards??

leave it in, there not much goes rusty under there so it's not worth the messing.

Its hideous stuff when it gets old and goes all crumbly - not sure how bad wool fibres are in your lungs? Strip it out and use something like the covering for boom boxes which you can get off ebay very cheaply and attach with spray on adhesive - looks very effective. Remember though not to wreck the originals as you use them as a template....

Have you ever seen health warnings against sniffing sheep? No? Can't be bad, then.

James - don't forget that you need to glue to a clean, dry surface. You can't glue to wax.
