Loosely, yes.

The formula's varied over time, but it does include engine size, gear ratios etc.

errrm im sure there are 2 springs on each side of the suspension... not one large shared spring :P and i also thought they were "fully independant" ... maybe were all completely wrong and this aol quiz is right and we're all silly :P

They arent fully independant, if you look at the end of the spring tube, there's a rubber bush about 3" diameter, that allows the spring tube (with 2 springs inside) to move back and forth a small amout, which reduces the pitching motion (i think) and although the movement is very small, it is still technically independant.

so its a semi-independant then? ahh nevermind! all i know is thats a beginners quiz for the people who think they know about a 2cv..... we need something more challenging!
