Still got 16mm to 24mm of insulation in the roof of the 2CV from my last trip so that has to come out before any roof off activity. Removing it could be a task for the weekend...

Had roof off for the whole of an 8 hour marathon down to deepest Norfolk and back yesterday. Me bird was over the moon.

I DID :D FULLY for the first time! i have had it folded back halfway a couple of days already though :P

i also had my grill muff off for the first time :D

My hoods been open most of this year. As long as it's dry I just wrap up warm and shout abuse at people in Audi A4 soft-tops and such-like for having their hood closed, even though they have far better heaters than a 2cv ;) Bloody pansies :lol:

Many times in both cars, but it was a little cold on Wed night and all Thursday. I just love driving in the dark with the roof rolled right back! It's almost time to put the summer roof on the dyane - a lovely Matt's soft top stripey affair. Need to tidy up the rest of the car to make it really work. GRRR. All wings are badly scratched, but I don't think it's worth shelling out for a whole respray and I would imagine matching the colour will be difficult as red always fades so badly.
