Hi all, I have returned and started the work on Bella the 2CV this week.

However, I have a request for a 2CVer in or around Glasgow area.

My Sister is getting married and it is looking like I'll not get the 2Cv finished in time. I really need a 2CV for her wedding reception in September. Date to follow (cuz I just forgot it)

Does anyone know of anything? Does Joe Cent still have the nice blue 2CV? I recall he did some weddings in the past..

Any leads would be great - thanks dudes and dudettes.

Graeme :D

Hi all! 65 views and not a single lead? Guess I'll just have to get our own 2CV completed in time 8-)

Hi Sean, thanks for your reply - great to hear from you. My 2CVGB membership lapsed! I would've put out a request on the forum there but I think it's still members only?

Incidentally, is your car the one I used to go past on the road to Clarkston just beyond Battlefield in Glasgow?

In fact the austerity mobile would probably be fine as it's still a 2cv! I just cannot get Bella fully road ready in time (wee bit too much welding to do..not to mention repaint!)

So! I'd be really keen on getting in touch with Grant Ormsby if possible. I'd be delighted to be in touch with the local club especially to chat about the restoration I'm doing on Bella and for modifications and such - I know 24hr racer Graham Harper pretty well too.

Anyway, thanks again and hopefully I can sort something out.

Graeme
