Well, it's so hot here. I've been working in the garden all day, shovelling a huge pile of rubble into buckets and taking it down the tip. After the first load, I was so hot that I drilled some holes in the driver's side front wing to bolt the mirror to, then took the doors off. Much better, although the mirror is a bit useless as it wobbles around too much, but it's all worth it because it's nice and airy in this heat, and it looks so cool. |

Hope this isn't a dampener on your fun, RT, but I have the feeling there is a legal issue, regarding the fitment of doors....Namely, if the car has them, they must be fitted. No doubt there'll be plenty of people along shortly, correcting me. |

No doubt there'll be plenty of people along shortly, correcting me. Well, what the hell, I can always smile nicely at the arresting officer and promise to fit them as soon as I get home. But I was passed by a police car while waiting at a junction this morning and he didn't seem too bothered. Let me go and google it ... |

just say you parked it outside a scrappy and they thought you had abandoned it, if they don't believe it then they might at least let you off for making them laugh. |
