I've been busy with my angle grinder ...
... and this is the result. I've never liked the standard 2CV front indicator units, it's almost as if they sat down and thought about the worst possible place to put them. So when the N/S one finally packed up on Friday I bought a pair of motorbike ones for a tenner and fitted them. Of course, this means you can get rid of much more of the front wing. It's legal as far as I can see, but it's no real problem to stick another pair of front wings on at MOT time.

Ok, that looks pretty good. I might have to chop a bit more off my O/S wing as I didn't get them quite even. This will only end one way ...

It makes for FANTASTIC rooster-tails of spray on wet motorways... Can't see a sodding thing out the side windows, though.

That's what I did with my first 2CV ... if it hadn't started raining while I was doing the front of the wings today, I reckon that's what I'd have done.
