Hi All Thought I would join up after seeing links to here while on a mission to find inspiration. I have an 83 2cv6 special in red with red roof. Originally brought it to convert to a race car but having had it over 2 years now I still haven't taken the plunge. the more I look at them I feel that I would like to just put it back on the road with some performance tweeks (or maybe a bmw r series) and retain its good looks. Anyway looks a nice site so expect many questions if I cant find answers. |

Hello My name is Dean Bell, and I have a 1985 Special that lives in Texas. I imported her in 2013 and promptly destroyed the crankshaft. After rebuilding the engine I have decided not to make her in to a special but to restore her instead. I plan on doing most of the work myself as this is going to be my hobby for the next few years. Anyway I just wanted to say hello. Dean |

hi, i'm chris from great yarmouth on the east coast of the uk. at the moment i'm trying to sell my mustang to free up some money to purchase a 2cv, having a background in building hotrods, gassers etc it will not stay standard. motorcycle engine, wire wheels with x-plys no fenders, lowered, roof chop, stretched wheel base at front(if possible?) i've already had a good look around, some neat rides about. cheers chris. |
