It's a new C3 with a rain mac on! And that's probably just about all it is I'm afraid. |

That's what I thought to be honest, but the little fact of covered rear wheels was throwing me, somewhat. Was just curious ![]() |

Which has prompted me to post this:- I received an email from a mate up north today as follows "Talking of car's on Thursday I am going to see a client in Paris who works for Citroen taking picture's of cars and he has the new purple 2CV concept car in his studio at the moment !" Needles to say I have asked for photos! |

As usual with these things, it'll bear a superficial resemblance to the old 2CV but won't actually be anything like it as a car. A new 2CV would be something like a Berlingo - basic and practical with plenty of useable space. It wouldn't need its headlights on little stalks or a cute face, which are pretty much irrelevant to what a good car the original 2CV is. These new models of old cars - Beetle, Mini, Fiat 500 and now the 2CV - are symptomatic of a society which values form over function. Or maybe I'm just getting old. |
