 can new chassis plates be made?

You only need the number, it helps to stamp it into a proper citroen style plate, but I've made my own more than once with nothing more than a set of number punches.

on my 75 the plate was like the black one, but on the chassis, underneath one of the driveshafts. I rescued that before cutting up the old chassis.

my '71 aks was the same - but i'm *sure* i remember drilling off a plate from the bulkhead on 78ish 2cv6 - still got it here.... somewhere!
