In the late 1970's there was a TV drama
"Secret Army" ....set in wartime Belguim it was about the Belgian Resistance and their efforts to hamper the occupying German Forces ....it later became the inspiration for the highly successful 1980's comedy series
'Allo'Allo."Secret Army" was recently re-shown on one of the cable channels ....
.....In one episode the Resistance are trying to get one their own guys away ......the plot features a Belgian Baker, and a lot of the filming is done in the back of the Bakers shop .....where there is a beautiful three bar grille aks400 parked.
At the end of the story, the guy they are trying to help to escape is betrayed, and is shot as he boards a train .....[in Wansford Station .....which is the Nene Valley Railway's station ] ....the Germans are waiting for him ....and shoot him .... the Resistance then drive away in the AK van.
As a final twist to the tale ....the train was hauled by a British locomotive ....built in 1954..... [
I only noticed that bit 'cos one of my "other hobbies" is steam trains and preserved railways]
