 Anybody in North East? Hi all, as you may have seen in the classified section, i am looking for a 2CV, but i was wondering if anybody in in the North East (Newcastle area) who would be able to let me sit in their 2CV so i can see if i fit. I only ask this as i am 6' 5" tall

Re: Anybody in North East? You'll fit. You just need some Cit BX seats if you want to stretch out a bit. That's what I had in Hellbilly, in which I drove hundreds of miles at a time without needing an osteopath. I dunno how tall Tri (who now owns Hellbilly) is. But he's pretty damned tall. And although I'm only 5'8" I'm pretty damned lardy, as you know. We managed to fit in it with no problem. Even at the same time!

Re: Anybody in North East? We'll i'm in Newcastle but the car is stripped down for rebuild and it being a Dyanne so not that much use at all..

Re: Anybody in North East? rustybus, I'm 6' 4" and find that forward visibility is much better when driving a Dyane than a 2CV, unless the seat has partially collapsed in the latter . Btw, don't bother with a 2CV-based van unless you enjoy being squashed against the steering wheel. ken
