I am sure somewhere amongst our fellow 2cv'ers someone will know the answer to this! How do I play something I downloaded from BBC i-player, from my macbook to the tv? I have a HDMI thingy on my tv, does that help? |

Im not 100% sure as you have too fancy'ier operating system for my liking ![]() If you have no HDMI slot i assume you will have a VGA slot so try the same thing with a VGA cable. If Apples are as "easy" to use as they should be, i dont see why it wont be as simple as plug and play. Hope that helps a bit |

Simon Crook wrote: How do I play something I downloaded from BBC i-player, from my macbook to the tv? I use iplayer-dl ( http://po-ru.com/projects/iplayer-downloader/ ) to download stuff "properly" from iplayer - it's saved as an MP3 (radio) or MP4 (TV) file on your hard disk. You could then burn that onto a DVD and play it in most DVD players. Whenever, not just within a week. |

Simon Crook wrote: many thanks, downloaded i-player-dl and it works I should add that you need to keep on top of updates - the BBC have changed the way in which iplayer works, subtly, quite a few times - and each time they do, the downloader is broken. |
