OK then, here are some pics. This first batch are from the 1987 World Meeting in Portugal, and the 'Save the 2cv' meeting in Paris that we went to on the way to Portugal - this was where the petition 2cv was presented to Citroen.

The 4x4 demo, where one Dutch guy in a standard 2wd 2cv wrecked his chassis. He had to set off back to Holland then next day, so a new chassis was bought in Lisbon, and the car rebuilt overnight in the garage tent.

Here's the 1989 World Meeting, in Orleans, when Day-Glo colours were everywhere:-

Cool pics Jono! F805 AAV belonged to a fellow Legless Frog who was camped with us at that meeting. It was, back in 1989, a brand new D*lly. Ooo. Still used to see it around Cambrige up until recently.

I think they owned a drummer of some sort prior to that D*lly, as that bootlid appears on the 1989 London to Brighton video, on a drummer (I can't remember what colour it was).

The owner was called Larry, and later that year he sold the D*lly and bought an Azurite blue V reg drummer which is the one on the 1990 L-B video (and the car that I ended up owning as my first 2cv a couple of years later).

Ah, I got it the wrong way around. I naturally assumed he'd gone from the older car to the D*lly, rather than upgrading from an F reg D*lly to a Drummer (which is incidently what I did when I sold my green and white D*lly to buy my Drummer in '99).

Shame that V reg Azzie's no longer around!
