Well to be fair, it's not something I need to worry about, coz my 2cv generally stays garaged in winter, coming out on the odd day. Was just a thought :geek:

Later Supers certainly had that fan arrangement cobbled out of bits of GS and switched on or off by one of those rectangular-with-rounded end push-switches invented for the DS which ended up in every Citroen in the 1970s in one form or another..... Decorated with a chrome-effect flunger-bezel on the SM and D and unadorned on Dyane dash-tops and 2CV Clubs......

I remember driving from Lochalsh to Cheltenham in a Super in the mid '80s. The car's heater was bloody efficient and got so hot that the top of the dash panel started to melt!

Mine was first year of Supers, '73 - non-stripy, no-hole wheels, no hazard lights, 1015 badges, short gearlever - and had exactly that setup.

Aye!

Mine was that year. No stripes but it did have holey wheels, and a sticker on the rear screen stating
"Ami Super. 1015cm3".
I think it had reclining seats with pockets on the sides as the only real distinguishing feature from the cooking 8.

M-reg, Rouge de Rio estate it was!

Somebody'd swapped them on later, then.

They were on 8s, too - the N-reg 8 estate I broke had 'em.

My 8 confort had the seats, Ideal little pockets to hold your CDs in!
