You can get a decent Scénic for that, I've seen 'em!
So it'll just have to wait untill I have a bit more to invest, or better knowledge in doing one up myself.
I've made a deal for an early Ax instead. WELL under a grand, MOT, lovely brown interior, no rust. Should get it within the week. Guess that means no sig car.

I'm not sure - there was a rebuilt '78 yellow drummer for sale for a grand recently advertised on 2CVGB. T&T 'til May as well. They're out there if you look.

They do seem to be a lot cheaper in the UK that in France now, unfortunately for me.
