Had some old camera films developed the other week and I reckon some of the pictures are quite cool.

That's fegs car isn't it? Must have been a while back, I can't remember the last time I saw an A series metro in that hideous yellow! Nice pics Jon. I keep meaning to get my 120 film developed.

TOMOS - CITROEN SERVIS, Osijek, Croatia... 1961

OT alert for which I apologise but, I only realised the other day how many components on brand new Citroens are made by Cimos!

Along with some components made by "Panhard"

In citroen A series in 70 an 80 - is ... a lot of our parts made in Tomos and Cimos (and other YU producers) was mounted in Citroen factories in EU... France and other countries. Like inside door panels, alternators and starter motors (Iskra),seats, electric trees , front lights, some parts of the suspension,... And lot of parts for ID - DS was produced in 60-is in Tomos factory.

This was normal cooperation between the factories Citroen and Tomos (latter CIMOS) at that time.

Now CIMOS is producing various parts for car industries all over the world (Citroen, BMW, Merc., ...)




In that time we had beautiful life ... now we have fu***ng capitalism... But that is another story...



All what is left is memories, old pictures and old 2cv-s...

This Dyane was standing in the bush for one year... after 3 days treatment in my garage owner drives this Dyane to the Spain and now she is there in every day use ...

Well, I keep my fingers crossed that we'll be seeing some of your more unique A-series on 2015 at the World Meeting!
