Didn't it get taken off the road due to it confusing other motorists? I'm sure i've heard that a couple of times now...

The number plate did reside on Jim Gibson's 2cv6 when it was used a few years ago for a 'Practical Classics' 2cv buyers guide. This is the car photographed at L2B in 2007 when it was wearing its original plate...

It sat on Darryls forcourt as an "advert" for the 2CV Centre for years. I used to have to wash it every weekend for years!

It eventually rotted away to nothing and got scrapped a couple of years before he jacked it all in and retired. :(

no way!! that car was legendary - didn't he build it for the 40th birthday celebrations? what a waste
